Welcome to our Frequently Asked Questions section!
Here, you'll find answers to some of the most common questions about our Outdoor Nursery. We hope this information helps address any inquiries you may have.
What do you do when the weather is really bad?
We have a contingency indoor space we can use if the weather is unsafe for the staff and children to be outdoors.
Do you provide funded hours?
We are in the process of offering Funded hours, but this won't be available until August 2026. In the meantime, we can accept Tax-free childcare, Universal Credit childcare allowance costs, and Childcare vouchers. Additionally, we are introducing FLEXI FRIDAYS, allowing families to select one day during the week and every second Friday as their additional day.
What toilet facility do you have?
We are working on implementing compost toilets and establishing our own compost area to teach children about their benefits. In the meantime, we are utilising pop-up toilets typically used for camping, along with eco-friendly, compostable products.
Is there enough parking available for parents?
As our enrolment increases, we will provide a complimentary Shuttle Bus service from Dunbar train station to facilitate drop-offs and pick-ups for parents. This service is intended to help families experiencing transportation difficulties. Please contact our management team for more details about this service. We strive to make your journey with us as stress-free as possible.
How do I reserve a space for my child?
As we are currently accommodating children ages 3-5 we anticipate openings in the next few months as our team grows. If you're interested in registering, please fill out our preregistration form available on our website. Our management team will be in touch to discuss options with you. We’re here to help!
